Accredited Programmes
Accreditation is the assurance that a college or university programme meets the quality standards established by the profession for which it prepares its students. An accredited civil engineering programme must meet the quality standards set by the civil engineering profession.

Approved Programmes
Some educational programmes do not require accreditation by the JBM institutions. This is because they are regulated by a separate professional body (e.g. Edexcel) and are approved by the JBM as satisfying the educational base for an Engineering Technician.
